I am in awe,

Due to God’s great splendor.

He made the heavens and the earth,

Yet he wants to know me.

I am in awe,

What a mighty, powerful God.

He has led many armies to victory,

Yet he wants to know me.

I am in awe,

A God so pure and sinless

He needed sacrifices to approach him,

Yet he wants to know me.

I am in awe,

A God who communicates through prophets and angels,

Sent his only Son to take the sins of the world,

Yet he wants to know me.

I am in awe,

The God so beautiful and wise,

Has bridged the gap between him and me,

And pursues a relationship with me.
